Our mission is to bring information and support to Linn and Benton county  residents in a continuing effort to promote healthy living and aging. 

This unique  community-wide event brings together seniors, baby boomers, educators, service providers, and  resources.   We aim  to educate, empower, and enable our community members  to pursue a healthy lifestyle and thrive!

The keys to staying motivated for healthy living

Join us at 10 am in Conference room 1 to hear an inspirational presentation on healthy living.

Dr. Hindmarsh is  well-known for leading the annual Act Alive event in Lebanon, through which he has participated in several sports activities in one day to raise money for class scholarships for diabetes patients at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.

Act Alive has raised $34,000 for diabetes patients in five years. In addition, Dr. Hindmarsh has received two prestigious awards for his efforts: Oregon Health Sciences University gave him the Award for Outstanding Contribution to Rural Healthcare in 2006, and the Oregon Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports gave him a Fitness Leadership award in 2008.
